About Prof. Rupesh chakraborty: • Ex Hony. Professor: Biswa Jotish Pith, Kolkata (ARP) • Visiting Professor: Paravidya Mahavidyalaya, Delhi • Vice President and Professor: Krishnamurthi Institute of Astrology, Kolkata Prof. Rupesh Chakraborty was born on 1st August 1942 in a zamindar family of Chittagong(now in Bangladesh). After completing the college education.He was one of these fortunate who got an opportunity to go England tour with Mr. S. M. Bazlool Haque, the then President of the Krishak Samaj Perty, of chittogong .He had the good opportunity of working with Seikh Mujibar Rahaman (the then Member of the parliament of Pakistan ) , as his secretary during 1957 - 1961 . Thereafter , he worked in Alpha General Insurance Co Ramna, Dhaka as the secretary of Seikh Mujibar Rahaman , who was the general manager of the company during Martial Law imposed by field Marshall Ayub khan. He visited Japan along with Mr. S. M. Bazlool Haque , who was the sole selling indenting agent of Kawasaki Steel Corporation , Osaka, Japan . Prof. Chakraborty came in touch with different kinds of people of various spheres in overseas countries which helped him in giving a new outlook to his profession , as an astrologer . In December 1961 , Prof. Chakraborty migrated to India and joined in a bank ,namely Indequip Ltd. Ahmedabad as the secretary of Mr. Anil Bhai Parekh , the director of the bank. In 1968 he joined Central glass Ceramic Research Institute (under science and technology dept. Govt. of India) and retired as a private secretary in 2002 July. Since 1978 Prof. Chakraborty was engrossed in the astrology subject. The Govt. of India permitted him to get actively involved in different capacities like lecturer, visiting professor, vice president and president in different astrological institutes. He has been titled the Jyotish Samrat during 1980 from Paravidya Mahavidyalaya, Delhi by the then president of India – Gyani Jain Singh. He has received the prestigious Pramethes Chandra Barna Award, Searchlight Award and many other counted awards as of now. During 2002 he was awarded the DEAN of Astrology by the Krishnamurthy Institute of Astrology, Kolkata. Prof. Chakraborty is the author of some important and relevant books on astrology:- Banga Gaurab 2011 Life Time achivement 2012 Jotish Ratna 2013 Books Upadan Vttik haste Rekha Vichar. Numerology It is almost 40 years that Prof. Chakraborty is engaged in Astrology and till date at least a thousand students have passed out from different Astrological Institutes under his kind guidance.
